About Us
Introduction
New Friends Club (NFC) was founded on January 18, 2018, with the mission to empower
marginalized groups in Nepal by addressing social and economic issues. Since its inception, NFC has made significant strides in promoting human rights, education, health, and economic development through various projects.
The organization recognizes the importance of supporting marginalized individuals, particularly children and women, who are often deprived of opportunities and lack awareness of their legal rights. As a result, NFC-Bara has established solidarity groups to bring these individuals into the mainstream development process. The organization boasts a team of experts in local governance, child protection, women’s rights, human rights, health and nutrition, trafficking in persons, GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion), education, and agriculture.
NFC’s journey began as a child club, where members graduated to form a youth-led advocacy group focused on raising awareness and campaigning for women, children, adolescents, and stakeholders on various community issues.
